Rightfully fashion tribute to my jazz queen the late Amy Winehouse. She'll be remembered and her "Valerie" & "Back to Black" will keep repeating in my iTunes that's for sure.

That beehive is unmistakable, that cat-eye, coal black liner, those heavy, wavy weave down to the side. There's no-one like her. You believe all those words, all those pain, all those sorrow that she cries in her songs. Like a friend, begging for a shoulder to cry, on your couch, opening up and telling you everything. Somehow, it's like you are the part of the stories -unwillingly.

Emmanuelle Alt, noted ex fashion stylist turned Editor-in-Chief first Vogue Paris April issue cover. Interesting choice of seasoned supermodel Gisele Bundchen in a sexy and sultry Dolce & Gabbana lacey Spring 2011 collection. Taking the helm in replacement of Carine Roitfeld as Vogue Paris new Editor-in-chief, shot by Inez and Vinoodh in St. Barth’s with minimum make up and barely accessories, knowing Emmanuelle Alt minimalist-sleek-all-black personal style, the result is quite unexpected, far from everybody would imagine Emmanuelle first cover shot would be.

But, let us keep in mind that Gisele is always a safe choice and Dolce & Gabbana had really outdone themselves for Spring 2011 collection and taking the fashion world by storm, again. Easily proven as 2 more international Vogue (Spain & Germany) were putting the SAME white lace dress on their beautiful model Constance Jablonsk and Britt Maren respectively.

I don't know why, but I want that tailored dark brown/black suit so bad. It's so sharp it can cut your fingers. That's why I don't buy off the rack suits because every person have different measurement and it goes by mili-centimeters. So get it right. The perfect fit will get you from "blah"..to "yeah" in 60 secs.

Everything is perfect and the color combinations are just gorgeous with a spark of bright canary yellow neck tie, lime green pocket square, light blue as a background canvas and red wine pair of suede shoes, it really is a statement piece!!

She's been doing the model rounds for ten years, since she was 15, but says that even back when she was 16 and in Paris, drugs weren't a problem. "I'd already tried everything in Holland. Anyway, I never wanted to be that model on drugs, the sort who gives head for a line of coke."

She does, however, have a weak spot for food.
"If I could have the discipline to be super-skinny, I would be. I think of dieting, then I eat pizza. I'm a woman, and every woman wants to be skinnier — unfortunately."

But she doesn't mind going topless all the time for magazines.
"Everyone's seen them. My girlfriends love them — they play with them!"

She's concerned about her future — she doesn't want to act or design.
"I lie in bed at night and worry about what comes next. I'm not sure I have any other talents."

And thinks she has men trouble.
"Men don't like me. I haven't been on a date for six months. I've just started a club with a girlfriend called the We Hate Men But We Can't Be Gay Club."

But she likes to be mean to men.
"I figure out what they hate most, and then I do lots and lots of that."

If she doesn't wear a designer, it may be because she hates them.
"I shouldn't be wearing these shoes. Because I hate the designer and never wear people I hate."

And don't get in her way at a show — one Belgian model now knows that.
"I kept saying 'Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me,' because I had to get to the catwalk, but she just kept posing. So I pushed her. It was only a few stairs."

Chanel Spring 2010 RTW by Karl Lagerfeld

Androgynous. This is the true meaning of the word androgynous. It's not when a girl wearing boys clothes and look like a boy, or boys wearing girls clothes and look like a girl.

It's when a girl wearing the exact same clothes like the boys but still maintaining her grace and femininity or boy wearing the exact same clothes like the girl but still holding strong to his masculinity while oozing the same charisma and self-confident.

This, again proved by the legend of fashion ambiguity himself the great Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel Spring 2010 RTW show recently held at soaring glass dome of Grand Palais, Paris for Paris Fashion Week. A great friend of Yves Saint Laurent who single handedly revolutionized how women dress in the mid 70's. As model by Baptiste Giabiconi (DNA) and Freja Beha Erichsen, the word 'unisex' will never be the same again.

Still holding their own gender identity while oozing the same amount of masculinity / femininity even wearing the same clothes with exact detailing and embroidery. Somehow it proves the saying "It's not what you are wearing, but how you wearing them."

Approved by the master himself. Karl Lagerfeld for the final bow. The show was truly dramatic inspired by Marie Antoinette's Petit Hameau farm at Versailles with big tall barn erected right in the center of the dome, with dirt, hay and rooster cocking around. With Lily Allen and the band and 2 backup singers/models serenading lines of editors, buyers and fashionistas and not to forget the wannabes, it was Karl Lagerfeld's show after all.

p.s: I want the whole look of the first pic. Skin-tight jeans with gold embroidered navy blue jacket and double breasted inner vest.

p.s.s; It's truly a great year for male model Baptiste Giabiconi. He is the male version of Gisele Bundchen. He has been the muse for Karl Lagerfeld and his editorial spread for Purple Magazine was shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. If it was me, I could die the next day smiling. Take a peek here and here. There were lots of bashing and bad-talking since the recent Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 RTW show that was held at Carrousel du Louvre, Paris during Paris Fashion Week. Partly, because it was Lindsay Lohan who was assigned as a 'artistic adviser' for Ungaro *i don't know who made that call. Maybe Mounir Moufarrige was drunk dialing her and before he realizes, it was already too late...Or mostly because it was seriously a really horrible show.. Cheesy, trying to hard I must say. Heart-shaped pasties?? on your chest?? Come on Lindsay!!

BTW, I LOVE the FENDI knee high boots she's wearing at the recent outing in Paris!! I WANT!! It's really on-your-face kind of boots with the brand's studded emblem is as big as your palms -put together.

If you ask me what I've been obsessed with for the past few seasons.. Well, here it is. RAD by RAD HOURANI. The magic in his collection is, it's gender-less. From the draped layered loose t-shirts and cardigans, super tight skinny jeans and short-shorts, somber tones and shades consist of grey, white and black and sequins and details, and the most magical of all, the heeled ankle boots for both men and women. Take a sneak peek at Rad Hourani FW09 backstage and SS10 collections. This simply mean another DIY project for me. Layered cardigans and t-shirts and cut-off short pants, ankle boots with socks. For a over-the-top runway fashion shows, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh, Rick Owen and Alexander McQueen are the designers to go. And recently Number (N)ine with their chains dangling, headgear and layers and layers of fabric. But John Galliano is a legend and in a class of his own.
For the Fall 2009, he sent his male models down the red velvet runway in a teeny tiny underwear paired with garters!! Yes..You heard me right. GARTERS for guys! With Slumdog Millionaire playing in the background, the models un-ashamedly and confidently do their things with heavy make-up, wigs, ribbons, shoes and thigh high socks. Definitely something that you shoudn't try at home unless you have the physic to pull it off and inside the four walls!!

What did I put on the other day? Just a gray buttoned cardigan and light gray shirt both from Zara worn over a super skinny distressed black jeans from Hanjiro. A hat and a scrape fabric black scarf (The jeans is super skinny it looks like leggings!). Round shades from Gucci. Remember the new length for guys on Dior Homme Fall 2009 runway post? That is definitely the inspiration behind this look.

Love his style. Very personal, special and unique. Shot at Lanvin Fall 2009 show by none other than famous photographer Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist. Love the layer of his shirts and jacket. Kept it simple with blue in various hue and black pin-stripe pants. Rolled-up sleeves and colored button spread all over make it fresh and the stack of colorful bangles is very..ethnic and inspirational . The cut of the jacket is very forward and androgynous at it's best which is going to be the trend in the upcoming shows.

Dior Homme show in Paris, along with the like of Rick Owen, Number Nine, and many other major designer rocking a new length for men!! It's androgynous at it's best. Knee length t-shirt is so in this season you can spot them at many major runways in Milan, Paris and London. It's been there before at the Gareth Pugh and Rick Owen previous show and is here to stay. Now I have to thank Kris Van Assche for this really cool look!!

So what if she decided to wear it backward and showing off her tattoos on her back which I think is super sexy and I love. There is no rules in fashion that say this is the front and this is the back. I sometimes wear my clothes backward. Spice it up a little bit and puff..you have a new cloth!!

By the way I still in love with the olive green Max Azria long gown that she wear at the Cannes Film Festival 2008 while still heavily pregnant with the best men-cessorize in tow, actor husband Brad Pitt!! She is the epitome of beauty and sexy that makes every pregnant women in the world green with envy.

D&G runway show in Milan Fashion Week. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana really outdone themselves with their latest Oscar Wilde inspired creations. With Ruritanian military jacket worn with distressed jeans which is my favorite look so far. Printed smooth velvet, gold ethnic brocade, sharp luxurious embroidered blazer, one word. SOPHISTICATED.

Hey guys!! I know I've been away far too long!. Cold, flu, runny nose and sore throat for 2 weeks straight after a long fabulous holiday in LA make it impossible!! And to write a 50 pages final year thesis in Japanese doesn't help either!! Bear with me gentle readers!! I'm holding on to whatever pieces left on me right now. =D

Butt =).. I've got an email from my old friend Prince Azim (*lol. Not from Brunei.) who happened to visit my blog. He was kind of casually sending me the photoshop-ed photo of me. What he did was just changed the background so it looks more spacious, presentable and I quote 'grand' <---ok I get it. Surprised surprised I kinda like it too!!

So now I have to add another entry to absurdly long list of my 2009 New Year resolutions. To learn the art of Photoshop!! I know. I'm like what?? Engineering undergraduate student with no skills of Photoshop..at all?? It's killing me to even think about it!! =D Welcome to 21st century to me!

Fellow blogger. Can you share with me what software do you use to edit all photos in your blog?? Is it more..simple than photoshop?? or is it better than photoshop? Leave a comment y'all!!

Top 10 key looks for Spring 2009

Hi gentle readers. I know it's kind of months late. But these are the picks for Top 10 key looks of Spring 2009 based on Men Style.com

1. The pajamas. It made it's debut on the runway a few season back in Dolce & Gabbana and still here on the runway making it's mark. Its obviously for guys with confident, elegant, know-what-I`m-doing attitude to pull it off on the street during the day, top it with classic blazer and newspaper in hand. Bottega Veneta Spring 2009

2. Indian/Oriental influences. Bright flashing colors and rhinestones are not for sari anymore. Bright ethnic hue such as purple, emerald, pink, green had made their way to the runway. And the fabric had gone more flashy than ever with metallic shiny finish, taffeta and silk. Giorgio Armani Spring 2009.

3. Fading/gradient pattern. Made its debut on Prada a few season back. But mostly on shoes and handbag. But the illusion-eye-catching pattern made its way on the dresses and surprisingly mens wear too!! To me, it's one of the 'seasonal' thing that might look good this season but maybe not next season. 4. Preppy retro look. Fashion is just a cycle. Now it's back!! The preppy blazer, checkered pattern, plaids even the supermodels made their way back to the glossy runway!! the best way to wear this look is, keep it simple as much as you can, with just shirt, pattern/strip blazer, cuffed pants, really vintage hat and genuine leather retro bag. 5. All white. There are saying out there that you cannot pretty much wear white after 4th of July but listen.. screw them. You can wear what you want what you please these days!! Look at this clean cut, airy feeling. It's approachable, clean and simple! By Kilgour Spring 2009.

6.Pink . Pink dont usually equal masculinity but in recent runways you can see that pink its definitely dominating compare to other colors. Just look at John Galliano's runway. It's crazy. Guys who are confidence enough with his masculinity and having no problem at all wearing pink is the twisted 'in' thing this season. By Louis Vuitton Spring 2009.

7. Micro pattern. Yes, like I said before, pattern is back. It's not on your necktie anymore. On your shirt, blazer, pants, jacket. Expect to see a lot of them coming and dont act surprise because I dont want to be the one who tell you 'I told you so'. By Moschino.

8. The wide stripes. It gives the illusion 'taller' to the one who wearing it. Definitely improving your body posture, make you look elegant, sophisticated and confident. It's very European. By Paul Smith Spring 2009.

9. Low scoop/boat neck. It's not for everyone. Totally for tall, lanky, slim guys with broad shoulders and long neck. To keep it simple, pretty much every male model you see on the runway these days!! But it looks good paired with clean cut blazer. Yes. Men are the new women. By Prada.

10. Cuff shorts. Yes. Cuff is on trend. I dont know what happened, but you can spice up your whatever-there in your wardrobe and make it this season by adding cuff to it. By Versace Spring 2009.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to just kick back and watch a good soccer match or play in one for my school team. I also enjoy just hanging out with my friends and doing normal stuff like going to parties or staying in and watching a good movie.

How would you describe your personal style?
Pretty casual. Most of the time you’ll catch me in a pair of sweats and a T-shirt. However, I like dressing up every once in awhile.

What are your five favorite songs on your iPod right now?
“Such Great Heights” by the Postal Service, “Bryn” by Vampire Weekend, “Naïve” by the Kooks, “Time to Pretend” by MGMT, and “Wonderwall” by Oasis.

Who is your greatest hero?
Apart from my mum and dad, my greatest hero has got to be Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a great footballer and I love that when whole stadiums are giving him stick he just mans up, and it fuels him to play better. Plus he’s just a cool guy and a real trendsetter.

What was your favorite part of the photo shoot?
It’s hard to label just one part as my favorite, but the haircut was pretty cool, and it was also really great working with such an amazing crew and trying on all the clothing.

Why do you want to be a model?
I hadn't really thought of being a model until someone told me that I would be great for it. Now though, I would love to be a model because I really can't think of anything cooler than seeing yourself on billboards, shopping bags, and magazines. The traveling and photo shoots with beautiful girls factors into the equation as well.

I’m 17 years old and I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I’m finishing up high school. I have one brother and four sisters. My house is like a rave—loud, with tons of energy. I LOVE IT!

What do you like to do in your free time?
Play basketball, work out, hang with my friends and family, make people laugh, pop popcorn, and terrorize my brother Jackson.

What are your five favorite songs on your iPod right now?
I love music and my iPod is full of songs that remind me of different points in my life. The most recent was Thanksgiving with a giant crazy family all trying to learn the single ladies dance for our annual family competition. Last year it was a game of horse in the snow. Others include “Love Story,” “One Is the Loneliest Number,” “Dirty Diana,” “Whatever You Like,” and anything Coldplay.

Who is your greatest hero?
My dad. The man has worked like a horse to make sure all six of us have a great life. He inspires me to care about the people that matter, stay level-headed, and work to my fullest potential. I love him.

What was your favorite part of the photo shoot?
Working with everyone was an amazing experience. They were all so professional, engaging, and fun. I learned so much.

Why do you want to be a model?
The opportunity to meet creative and talented people, and what the experience could bring, as well as the travel and the chance to jump into an amazing designer suit purely for the fun.

Do you guys agree with the result?? I am. It tells that if you have to choose between 2 really good things, why choose? Just have `em both? *LOL. That`s what I always do when I go shop and it makes me broke. -it`s not a good thing y`all. Btw, I`m flying to somewhere warm -Los Angeles tomorrow for Christmas and New Year. Really excited to check out the shop and surely I`m gonna enjoy myself there. Have fun.

Tuesday, 16th . Belstaff Spring/Summer 2009

According to Belstaff Spring/Summer 2009 runway show, Taffeta is back. The shiny fabric made an appearance at the runway show in the shades of black, deep blue, green, red and khaki. It`s a breath of a fresh air where we saw a lot of leather and impeccable tailored suits for the last few seasons. This is obviously for active , rough, outdoor kind of gentlemen who still want to do all thing dangerous and dirty while keeping themselves in style.

As for me, I wore my favorite taffeta black jacket with yellow and red stripes at the side by Vivre with a detachable fur-collar from other jacket because it`s still winter here in Tokyo though the spring/summer 2009 show was like 2 months ago. Keep it sleek with Jean Paul Gaultier glove and black ankle high boots and blue jeans by Levi`s. When I wear blue jeans I always love to pair it with a standout color belt like in this case a red metal-trimmed belt because it somehow make your body proportion looks good. Your upper body and lower body kind of separated and you know exactly where your lower body started thus make you legs look longer.

“The Spring/Summer 2009 collection revolves around the idea of wearing a suit to the beach; I imagined how surfers would wear a suit. I continue to play with the idea of using classic menswear elements and making them relevant and wearable for today’s sportswear generation.” –Kris Van Assche

When you are in doubt, just throw on a nice expensive-look leather jacket over anything from crisp shirt to prints tee and you're good to go.
Faded blue jeans and white sneakers always work. But how about an ankle high boots to spice things up a little bit once in a while?
If you want to stand out from the crowd, wear ONE extra item. Pair of gloves, accessories, or man-bag always work. Or keep it simple yet expensive such as a high-end scarf, statement shiny patent shoes, or studded belt.
If you buy a jacket, make sure it fits and falls exactly above your waistline so it will make your chest look broader and your legs look longer.
If you are buying a really expensive suit, opt for a classic shape that gives a man a strong shoulder, a fitted waist, and long legs. Simple is the best.
Mixing a pattern together could be hard. Just dont overthink it. Patterns, plaids and stripes used to clash but they are not now.
Details. It's all about details. If you are choosing a simple tee, make sure it have really good prints or shiny details such as studs or beads.
If you want to invest in a pair of cool shades or sunglasses, make sure it's classic cut. A pair of aviator is always a good choice since it will define every bone and shape of your face.
Be creative on your choices of texture and fabrics. If you're wearing denim bottoms, try to avoid denim jacket or if you're wearing knit sweater, avoid knit scarf. Just be creative.
Girls. If you're going out on a date, first thing to look up on your man are his watch and his shoes. If he wears a good expensive watch, then you know what it means and if he wears a nice clean pair of shoes, it shows that he is a hygienist.

Today's inspiration is from Junya Watanabe Fall 2008. It was a very smart preppy-college look with striped blazer jacket but keeping it casual with a faded rolled-up blue jeans and a sneak of argyle high socks..

"There was a sense of a buttoned-down-fit-to-burst individual in outfits as tense as a shrunken navy jacket worn with a shirt in a banker's stripe and a college tie. It was very Thom Browne-does-Tokyo. But equally, the clothes had a twisted preppiness that was the latest expression of the merry hell Junya plays with American dress codes. So glen plaid slacks boasted carpenter's loops, and a blazer sported the sleeves of a baseball jacket." -Tim Blanks GQ.

It's Monday. Started the week wearing a little formal 2 buttons blue jacket by Levi's with red lining and red stitches that it looks really cool if worn over a contrast white shirt with pleated details on the front chest. Paired down with loose fitted faded blue jeans also by Levi's with rolled-up cuff showing an argyle print high socks. Never really like the rolled-up style since I dont have the longest pair of legs and it makes your shoes kind of 'vulnerable' unless you really have a great pair of shoes that you want to show of..like in this case my wine colored Oxford shoes by Michael Antonio. I'm starting to like the nonchalant feel of it though. Bright red silk tie tied conservatively and a simple black top hat. A vintage leather bag is always a good accessorize to complete the preppy-college look.

Sunday, 14th Ann Demeulemeester

It's a crazy fur fiesta at the Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2008 runway show in Paris. Rows of Mongolian lamb coats and jackets. It's overwhelming. Ann Demeulemesster is famous for her complicated layering technics and it definitely shows and the fleece was sheared and manipulated in artful ways. The same airy movement was duplicated by the fringing spilling from pockets, dripping from hat brims. And the collection’s defining piece—a waistcoat with a big crimped collar—acted as a flattering frame for the face.

I was trying to duplicate the look with this earthy-brown jacket with faux-fur lining. (It was very heavy) and completed the whole Ann Demeulemeester look with a fur stole that I bought in London. Tied in the two together with Versace studded belt and was wearing Jean Paul Gaultier fingerless gloves. Aviator is from Gucci. Plaid blue pants are from Zara worn with a vintage well-worn boots and vintage leather bag as a contrast to the total rough look. It is once again a very couture look but I'm happy with it. Totally gonna wear it when the weather is getting colder in January.

For those of you who reside in Japan, check this out. American Apparel's online retail store is open. At left is Fine Jersey Double Breasted Cardigan which look good worn over a simple crisp shirt and at right is Slim Slack that worn with the infamous Converse's Chuck Taylor.

Saturday ,13th John Galliano/ Gucci

Today`s inspirations are both from John Galliano Fall 2008 runway and Gucci Fall 2008 runway show . Forget the berret, it`s so Galliano but in love with fur-trimmed gray knitwear worn loosely by the model at the left. Keeping the monotonous fall color, the knit wrap was worn with brown-ish button up sweater and gray loose pants with details on the knees. Gucci on the right is a long coat with shiny fur-trimmed around the collar, worn with more formal gray pants, same color button up shirt and patent boots. It gives a mysterious yet chic feel at the same time. Very European.

It was raining and windy outside. I was wearing a knitted fur-trimmed long outer coat/wrap by Agate, note the cap sleeves that give it a couture/space age effect on the total look. Worn with gray crisp shirt and pants both from Zara, black vest from Topshop and silver leather tie that I found at Hanjiro. Studded bag is from Zara. It`s a little couture, even for me. But I love the total look and definitely will wear the total look again.

This is Shibuya at night. Full of life. Neon everywhere. Thousands and thousand chic and trendy people crossing around it left you feel a little bit overwhelmed by this overly busy and modern city. There was a live concert by Funky Monkey Babies in front of Shibuya Apple Store and it was broadcasted live on the big screen at the famous Shibuya junction.

It was Friday and I was wearing gray shirt by Zara,
shades by Gucci, skinny satin black tie tied as a ribbon, checkered red/black sweater by Morgan, studded belt by Versace, plaid double breasted pea coat and skinny burgundy/wine jeans from Hanjiro, wine colored ankle boots by Agate and vintage leather woven bag.

In love with the jockey boots trend that has been going crazy this past runway seasons and decided to jump in the wagon. Taking Dolce & Gabbana Fall runway shots as an inspiration, just a simple classic cut jockey boots worn over denim while keeping the silhouette simple by putting on fit leather jacket, accessories such as long scarf / woven bag. Love the simple silhouette head to toe and the total masculine look.

Putting on my favorite military/band jacket with rolled-up sleeves, love the contrast of the green and deep blue. All is vintage and from Hanjiro.

It's Monday. Decided to go a little bit formal today and taking this gorgeous preppy look from Ralph Lauren Fall 2006 as an inspiration. Well, short double breasted pea coat havent been on the runway for the past few seasons and the last appearance was from Burberry Prossum 2007
but it was knee length colored double breasted coat worn with skinny belt. I believe this look will make a new appearance on the next seasons. Well, you know it's a cycle. Gray tailored sharp double breasted pea coat, blue scarf, structured vintage leather bag and a nice pair of with loafers. It's a total Ralph Lauren preppy look.

Today is a bright and sunny Sunday but the wind is kind of crazy. Taking this Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 as an inspiration, this is what I had threw on during the day. Just a simple leather jacket that I bought at London worn over a striped shirt with loose skinny tie. I dont usually let my shirt out because well..I dont have the longest pair of legs, but how the cropped leather jacket fell nicely above my waistline and the contrast of the length with the shirt make it looks ok. Keep the color block simple with deep blue patent bag, blue plaid pants and wine color oxford style shoes that I forgot that I have.

Today`s inspiration is these heavily accessorized gentlemen presented by Karl Lagerfeld's at Spring Summer 09 Chanel Hommes collection

Smart, sharp tailored fit black suit worn over crisp grayish blue shirt and this season must have bow-tie, accessorized with layers and layers of silver chain necklace and gray corsage tucked nicely on the lapel.

Trying to recreate the feel by throwing on this gold blazer jacket with satin gold lapel and lining from Hanjiro, scooped neck plain black shirt from Zara as not to take away the shine from layers and layers of silver chain necklace. Worn over black skinny fit jeans by Uni Qlo and threw on a simple long black scarf to tie in the look together. Heels boots and cage-style see-through bag from Vivre.

Shilding myself from the cold weather outside by putting on this gray/brown acrylic throw from Topshop to keep myself warm.

His name is Franco and he is Swedish. Bold choices. Jacket from H&M, legging/tights by Gina Tricot, linen plaid shirt by Acne, wrap (2 layers) one from Pakistan and another one from H&M, beanie from Beyond Retro, bag from Bik Bok. What can I say?? I love European. Even the street walker dress like they are on the glossy runway.

It`s Friday. Dont WANT to go to school today. Thinking of doing all the work at the comfort of my room and ice-cream. Yeah.. ice-cream. Woke up early as usual and had a quick dash to grab lunch. Today is a very bright and windy day, so taking it all in, I`m feeling flowy today, so threw on a loose long cardigan over a loose gray t-shirt with rhinestone details on it. LOVE the t-shirt, did cut the neckline to V neck so it will have more relax and effortless vibe that I want to achieve. My favorite long black jersey scarf, aqua colored stone necklace to give the essemble some needed colors, Levi`s 501 loose fit jeans over a brown shoes. *I haven`t worn loose fit jeans for ages. I should start alternating my pants.

Look how good it looks when it flows. Wind blowing and love the effortless effect it gave.

Today`s inspirations came from Burberry Prossum Spring 2009 show. Christopher Bailey has really outdone himself. I`m such a big fan of his work. Laid-back, chic yet sophisticated look. For his latest collection, he imagined the late artist/filmmaker Derek Jarman in his garden at Dungeness, a hardscrabble stretch of English seaside perched next to a nuclear reactor. So there was a floppy Panama hat like Jarman’s, prints that looked like raindrops or mud splotches, and a dour color palette that ran a gamut of moss, stone, peat, bark, and pewter.

Hot spot

This is Ginza. A high-end upscale shopping street ala Oxford St in London or Soho in New York. Had a great fun strolling around checking out high-end boutiques after long hours at the embassy. Was there alone so got nobody to snap my photos in action.So for now, enjoy the photos.

The main street of Ginza. Traffic was heavy with yellow cabs and private cars and hundreds people crossing around.

H&M in Ginza. The price is really great and affordable. Planning to come again. Definitely with my entourage. *so they can hold my shopping bags.

This is Yokohama, where I live. This building have 8 floors and hundreds of small outlets/boutiques inside it. Mostly of a well known Japanese brand that you cant buy outside of Japan.

My favorite thrift shop called Hanjiro. Full of mirrors. Narcissist??

Love the interior. Chandeliers and mirrors along the stairs to the 2nd floor of the shop where usually a good stuff is well hidden behind the rack.

This is where I do my runway walk on auto-pilot mode.

Look at those stuff. can you blame me for going to this place almost every weekend??

Dont like the style. Who`s the stylist?? Shoot `em.

Alexander McQueen inspired essemble

Today`s inspiration is from Alexander McQueen Fall 2008. In love with the gray fur stole wear loosely around the neck. Have to go formal today since I have a walk in interview at US embassy..*I`m flying to secret location for Christmas and New Year. yeay. Didnt sacrifice all the fun by throwing on a gray fur stole, over a gray jacket with metallic-shiny silver lining and lapels. *LOVE IT. Check out the badge on my chest. It makes me looks like one of those Upper East Side brats. GG?? get it?? argyle sweater, accessorized with 3 layers chain necklace, studded belt ala Burberry Prorsum, and nice well-worn below the knee hard boots with gold details inspired by D&G worn over a simple black jeans.

She strikes again. Always a sharp dresser, this time Victoria Beckham as seen here landing at London is wearing an impeccable gray pencil dress-skirt *I believe it`s Roland Mouret, warm cape-like fur jacket, nice pair of black stilettos pump by YSL and not to forget quilted Chanel purse with gold chain handle. Surrounded by a fashionable group of entourage, with this season must have loose knit sweater worn over a cardigan, skinny jeans, and pair of knee high boots. I wish I have friends like them.

This photo is taken from The Sartorialist. My favorite photographer/fashion blogger ever. Look at how simple yet chic this girl playing with simple color block of white, gray and black. Love the effortless feel of the gray scarf over the simple white tank top. *I bet she`s freezing though. And the high-waist leather zip-undone-short-skirt is just a perfect length. Compliment by the black hose and YSL tribute booties, it makes her legs look endless. That`s the trick girl.

Dont have to go to school today, but have to go out to meet my travel agent at Yokohama. Threw on a nice leather jacket with fur collar over a t-shirt with metallic word on it. Accessorized with 3 layers chain necklace and simple long black scarf.
